Overview

Château Larcis Ducasse is a Bordeaux wine which has the appellation Saint-Émilion, ranked Premier Grand cru classé B in the Classification of Saint-Émilion wine since 2012 and considered one of the fastest rising estates in the region.


The 11.3ha vineyard is planted to 83% Merlot and 17% Cabernet Franc the wine is almost always austere and broody when young. The terroir here is exceptional with a mixture of hard Asteries and soft Molasses de Fronsandais limestones. Ageing is in 60% new oak with 70% of the production going into the first wine and since 2010 30% into a second table Murmure de Larcis Ducasse.
